I have used my bachelor's degree in fine arts from Virginia Commonwealth University to teach makers of all ages, through community and faith based organizations, my whole adult life.

In 2022, Mixed Media Headquarters Youtube channel was launched out of a desire to help others overcome hurdles and tap into their creativity.

Teaching mixed media art and jewelry making regularly online produces works that I love sharing with my community and visitors at local art markets in the summer and holiday seasons.

Every workshop and every participant confirms for me that the process of creating enhances life, community and overall wellness.
